Colin Wright is an American biologist and anti-transgender activist. Wright is involved with anti-trans organizations including Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine (SEGM), the Manhattan Institute, and Genspect.
Background
Colin Morgan Wright was born on August 26, 1985. Wright earned a bachelor’s degree from UC Davis in 2012 and a doctorate at UC Santa Barbara in 2018. Wright taught at Penn State, with research focused on collective social behaviors of insects and arachnids.
Wright is Managing Editor at Quillette magazine. Wright’s anti-trans work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Times, and The Australian.
Wright also publishes via Substack as Reality’s Last Stand.
Since getting involved in anti-trans activism, Wright has become romantically involved with fellow anti-trans activist “Christina Buttons.”
