Airiel Salvatore is an American software engineer and ex-transgender activist. Salvatore is affiliated with anti-trans hate group Genspect and with Partners for Ethical Care.
Salvatore has also used the names “Airie Androgyny” and “Sackless Jack.”
Background
Airiel D. Salvatore was born in May 1989 and reportedly grew up in an abusive household. Salvatore began a medical transition at age 16, moved to Los Angeles as a teenager, and reportedly experienced homelessness there.
Salvatore later attended City College of San Francisco in 2014 and 2015, then earned a web development certifiation from freeCodeCamp in 2016. Salvatore has worked for CPR Interactive, Britelite Immersive, GenUI, and Podium.
According to a Genspect profile:
“Plunged into homelessness in Los Angeles at age 19, he found himself in an environment in which a large percentage of the youth in the shelters he was using were trans identified. By that time, all the psychiatric and therapeutic gatekeeping had already come tumbling down in California. […] Airiel’s honeymoon phase was brief. A year and a half after his surgery, all his anxiety and dysfunction returned.”
Following a personal crisis in 2023 surrounding regret about getting vaginoplasty, Salvatore made additional gender changes.
Ex-trans activism
Salvatore says a 2023 video with James Klug, Peter Boghossian, and “Billboard Chris” led to the decision to make additional gender changes.
In 2025, Salvatore was a signatory on an ex-transgender endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for Secretary of Health and Human Services.
