Soren Aldaco and transgender people

Soren Aldaco is an American ex-transgender activist. Aldaco gets money and attention by making it more difficult for others to get trans healthcare.

Aldaco filed a lawsuit against medical professionals who provided Aldaco gender affirming medical services. Following dismissals by the judge, Aldaco was ordered to pay over $40,000 in legal costs for some of these providers in 2024.

Aldaco has also testified at the Texas State Legislature regarding HB 1686, “Relating to prohibitions on the provision to certain children of procedures and treatments for gender transitioning, gender reassignment, or gender dysphoria and on the use of public money or public assistance to provide those procedures and treatments.”

Aldaco frequently appears in conservative and fascist media to litigate ex-trans political ideology.

Background

Kylie Marie Creecy was born in May 2002 to Angela “Angie” Creecy Wooldridge (born 1977) and grew up in Hurst, Texas with stepparent Keith Wooldridge (born 1978). Creecy did not meet the other biological parent until around age 15, which apparently caused some kind of distress.

Aldaco has used a number of names and stylings:

  • Søren Creecy
  • Soren M. Creecy
  • Soren Aldaco
  • Søren Aldaco

As Soren Creecy, Aldaco graduated in 2020 from Texas Connections Academy. Aldaco participated in softball and was second in the class academically.

Like most ex-trans activists, Aldaco is heavily invested in taking the sick role. Aldaco claims in anti-trans publications and in lawsuits against trans healthcare providers to have experienced the following problems and maladies:

  • “chronic social media usage”
  • “early exposure to pornography”
  • “insistent bullying”
  • “peer ridicule”
  • rapid-onset early puberty
  • history of abuse and neglect
  • “extensive emotional, physical, and verbal abuse growing up by family”
  • “mental anguish”
  • “troubled family life”
  • “sudden loss of a beloved grandmother”
  • anxiety

  • gender dysphoria
  • obsessive–compulsive personality disorder (OCPD)
  • attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • adjustment disorder
  • autism spectrum disorder
  • “a history of suicidal ideation”
  • “a tendency towards phases of hyper fixation”
  • “noteworthy peculiarities in thinking and experience”
  • “likely to be a socially isolated individual who has few interpersonal relationships that could be described as close and warm”
  • “heavy drug use for recreational purposes” that was “sufficient to have had negative consequences on her life”
  • “tendency to be rather impulsive”
  • “poor judgment and insight”
  • “considerable uncertainty about major life issues and goals, of a magnitude well beyond that typical of adolescents”
  • “struggling with marriage, family, school, money, anxiety, moods swings, past hurts, codependency, self-esteem, and stress control”
  • “social disorders”
  • “other diagnoses”
  • “manic episodes”
  • “psychotic break”
  • inpatient psychiatric care
  • psychiatrist “coerced me into telling him I was trans”
  • “a botched double mastectomy”
  • “a slew of other mental health disorders”
  • “a host of other stressors and troubles”

In 2018 Aldaco was committed to a psychiatric treatment center called Mesa Springs. Aldaco was treated by Sreenath Nekkalapu. Aldaco claims that Nekkalapu “coerced” Aldaco to identify as transgender.

In 2019 Aldaco attended the Fort Worth support group Trans-Cendence International.

On January 28, 2020, about three months before turning 18, Aldaco requested and received prescriptions for estrogen blockers and androgens from nurse practitioner Del Scott Perry and continued until November 2021.

In July 2020, at age 18, Aldaco began seeing therapist Barbara Wood. Aldaco requested and received an “approval letter” from Wood to receive top surgery.

On June 11, 2021, Aldaco had top surgery at the Crane Center and was dissatisfied with the recovery process and results.

In November 2021, following a period of “meditation and mindfulness,” Aldaco began getting involved in ex-trans activism.

2023 lawsuit

Aldaco sued Del Scott Perry, Sreenath Nekkalapu, Barbara Rose Wood, Richard Santucci, Ashley DeLeon, Crane Clinic, Three Oaks Counseling Group/Thriveworks, Texas Health Physicians Group, and Mesa Springs for providing trans health services.

Lawyers Jordan Campbell, Ron Miller, Josh Payne, and Daniel Sepulveda of Campbell Miller Payne, PLLC represented Aldaco in the lawsuit.

Despite being class salutatorian and attending the prestigious Duke University Talent Identification Program due to high standardized test scores, Aldaco claims to have been too incompetent to make medical decisions at age 17.

Judge Donald J. Cosby dismissed Nekkalapu and Mesa Springs from the suit without prejudice on December 15, 2023.

Judge Cosby dismissed Del Scott Perry and Texas Health Physicians Group from the suit with prejudice on March 15, 2024. On April 11, 2024, Judge Cosby ordered Aldaco to pay $40,199,94 in legal costs.
