Claire Heathcote vs. transgender people

Claire Heathcote is a British health researcher. Heathcote works at the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York.

Heathcote was a co-author on the 2024 York Reviews, a series of papers commissioned by the Cass Review as a pretext for restricting or banning trans healthcare for minors. Heathcote was lead author on one of them: “Psychosocial support interventions for children and adolescents experiencing gender dysphoria or incongruence: a systematic review.”

Background

Heathcote attended University of Bristol, earning a master’s degree in 2009 and a doctorate in 2015.
