Ruth Hall CB is a British physician and anti-transgender activist. Hall is affiliated with the West of England Specialist Gender Identity Clinic, which has a two-year waitlist for trans health services. As of February 2026, the clinic had 5,635 adults waitlisted and was seeing people who booked appointments in 2023.
Hall was lead author of research commissioned by the Cass Review, a document created as a pretext to restrict or ban transgender healthcare for minors in the United Kingdom. Hall’s work has been cited on the Detrans Foundation website and in anti-trans legal filings in the United States.
