Josh Szeps is an Australian podcaster who frequently platforms reactionary centrists and anti-trans activists associated with the “intellectual dark web.”
Szeps has also hosted conservative trans physician Dana Beyer, comedian Eddie Izzard, drag artist Courtney Act, and ex-trans activist “KC Miller.”
Background
Josh Szeps was born on November 22, 1977 to actors Henri Szeps (1943–2025) and Mary Ann Severne. Szeps has two siblings. Szeps grew up in suburban Sydney, graduating from Fort Street High School, then attending University of Technology Sydney.
In 2014, Szeps married Sean Joseph Gallerani, who took Szeps’ surname. They had twins Stella and Cooper through surrogacy.
Szeps has also gone by the name “Josh Zepps.”
Szeps began working in voiceover and radio in 2000. In 2008 Szeps hosted the science show Brink, then was an anchor and correspondent for Channel One News. Szeps was a founding host for HuffPost Live in 2012 and has hosted the shows The Project, the National Evenings Show, Afternoons Program, and Weekend Breakfast.
Szeps has has appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience more than almost any other guest (at least 7 times).
