Pediatric and Adolescent Gender Dysphoria Working Group vs. transgender people

Pediatric and Adolescent Gender Dysphoria Working Group (PAGDWG) was an anti-transgender website created in 2018 and abandoned in 2022.

The site was created in direct response to the trans-supportive Gender Dysphoria Affirmative Working Group, founded in September 2018.

Their goal was to promote the disputed disease “rapid onset gender dysphoria” and the “social contagion” hypothesis of trans identity. They sought out ex-trans activists to participate in propaganda about “desistance” and “detransition.” They also opposed the affirmative model of care.

The group was an early iteration of what later became anti-trans hate groups Genspect and Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine.
