Ryan McDonald Rogers was born on March 12, 1987 and is from Bryan, Texas. Rogers reportedly earned a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and a master’s degree from St. Edwards University in Austin.

According to a self-written Amazon author profile:

“Ryan Rogers received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Baylor University and his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from St. Edwards University. He works as a clinician at a men’s addiction treatment center and writes on the intersection of psychology, philosophy, therapy, and addiction recovery. Ryan lives in Austin, Texas.”

Rogers works as a licensed chemical dependency counselor intern at Heartwood Recovery in Austin, Texas. According to a self-supplied biography on their website:

“Ryan is a Primary Outpatient Clinician at Heartwood Recovery. He was driven to work in the treatment industry based on his own journey with recovery. He believes in treating every client with empathy and compassion, but also pushes them to be the best version of themselves. Ryan leads process groups and works individually with clients. He also leads a Christian-based therapy group for those who wish to participate and also the Recovery Planning group where clients prepare for life after treatment.”

Anti-trans activism

Rogers was a guest on anti-trans podcast Critical Therapy Antidote and has self-published a number of works critical of “woke” ideology, postmodernism, and social justice.
