Isabelle Ayala aka “basedlittlelady” is an American ex-transgender activist. Ayala gets money and attention by making it more difficult for others to get trans healthcare.
Background
Isabelle Marie Ayala “Isa” Osorio was born in Orlando, Florida on January 30, 2003 to Iviana Osorio and Giobanny Ayala. Ayala was reportedly sexually assaulted at age 8, which led to self-harm like cutting around age 11.
Parent Iviana Osorio was unaccepting of Ayala’s interest in gender transition, so Isabelle Ayala moved out of state to live with Giobanny Ayala. Ayala began a medical transition at age 14 and took testosterone for three years before making additional gender changes at 17.
Ayala is an ambassador for anti-trans nonprofit Independent Women’s Forum and has appeared at many anti-trans conferences.
Ayala was a litigant in an ex-trans lawsuit that names the American Academy of Pediatrics, part of a wave of litigation promoted by anti-trans activists. The case was dismissed in June 2025.
In 2024, Ayala and Prisha Mosley appeared in a video about “detransition” for anti-trans group Women’s Liberation Front.
