Elle Palmer and transgender people
Elle Palmer is an American ex-transgender activist.
Background
Elle Palmer was born in ~1999 and grew up in Great Falls, Montana. Palmer sought trans healthcare at Planned Parenthood and took masculinizing hormones starting at age 16. Palmer made additional gender changes at age 19 without taking any surgical steps.
Ex-trans activism
In 2020, Palmer began posting videos about making additional gender changes. Palmer was also active on the “detrans” subreddit on reddit.
In 2025, Palmer appeared on a panel at the Women’s Declaration International national conference. The panel, titled “Detransition: What’s Next?” was facilitated by Elizabeth Chesak; speakers were Claire Abernathy, Prisha Mosley, and Elle Palmer.
In 2025, Palmer and other ex-trans activists lobbied elected officials about their concerns.
In 2025, Palmer testified against Connecticut House Bill 7135, a bill that would protect medical professionals from liability when they give cross-sex hormones to patients.
In 2025, Palmer testified in favor of Montana Senate Bill 2018, which sought to extend liability limitations for providers of trans health services.
In 2025, Palmer was a signatory on an ex-transgender open lettern requesting that the United States Senate confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services.
