Sascha Bailey is a British art curator and ex-transgender activist. Bailey is associated with anti-trans hate group Genspect.
Background
Sascha Bailey was born on June 22, 1994 in Tavistock, Devon to photographer David Bailey and model Catherine Dyer. The family moved to North London when Bailey was 12. At age 13, Bailey and sibling Fenton Fox Bailey held the first of several art exhibitions. Sascha attended the Moat School, then worked as a model and aspiring actor.
Bailey married lawyer Mimi Nishikawa and lived in Japan. Following the end of their ten-year marriage in 2022, Bailey registered in Japan as transgender. Bailey was prescribed hormones but did not take them.
Ex-trans activism
Bailey hosts the podcast Try to Hit the Pool. The first episodes are narration of Bailey’s 2025 book of the same name. Later episodes include guests in the anti-trans, ex-trans, and conservative trans movements, including Joe Burgo, Pear Joseph, Ray Alex Williams, Aaron Terrell, Buck Angel, Katy Jon Went, Jack Jewell, and “Georgina.”
In August 2025, Bailey appeared on anti-trans podcast Beyond Gender, later saying this appearance “is the final interview I want to do about all this.”
