Sarah Jorgensen vs. transgender people

Sarah CJ Jorgensen is a Canadian pharmaceutical researcher and anti-transgender activist.

Background

Jorgensen earned two bachelor’s degrees from University of British Columbia in 2005 and 2009 respectively. Jorgensen then worked as a pharmacist in British Columbia, then earned a doctorate in pharmacy from University of Florida in 2014. After earning a master’s degree from Wayne State University in 2019, Jorgensen earned a doctorate from University of Toronto in 2024.

In 2024, Jorgensen was appointed Associate Research Scientist at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute.

Anti-trans activism

Starting in 2022, Jorgensen began getting actively involved in anti-trans research and writing. Jorgensen has published in the anti-trans journals Archives of Sexual Behavior and Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy.

In 2023, Jorgensen signed a citizen petition (FDA-2023-P-3767) prepared by Nancy Stade that attacks gender affirming care for minors. It was signed by many other leading lights in anti-trans activism worldwide.
