Glenna Goldis is an American lawyer and anti-transgender activist. Goldis believes “gender medicine is based on lies.” Goldis spoke at the 2025 conference held by anti-trans hate group Genspect and was a panelist at the 2025 US Federal Trade Commission anti-trans workshop.
Prior to October 2024, Goldis used the pen name “Unyielding Bicyclist” online.
Background
Glenna Byrne Goldis was born on October 27, 1984. After graduating from South Kingstown High School in 2001, Goldis earned a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2024. Goldis then earned a law degree at New York University School of Law and was admitted to the New York Bar (No. 4868600) in 2010.
According to a 2015 profile:
Before joining Legal Momentum, she represented domestic violence victims and consumers as a staff attorney at Northeast Justice Center in Massachusetts. She litigated the impact case Guardianship of V.V., which created a right to counsel in Massachusetts for parents sued by private parties for guardianship of their children. Many of these parents are victims of domestic violence. Her 2014 article about how family courts violate parties’ constitutional rights, “When Family Courts Shun Adversarialism,” was published in the U.C. Davis Journal of Juvenile Law and Policy.
Goldis worked at Northeast Legal Aid, Brooklyn Bar Association, and the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs.
In 2022, Goldis was appointed as an Assistant Attorney General in the consumer fraud and protection bureau. Goldis is based in New York City. In January 2026, New York Attorney General Letitia James fired Goldis, who said, “In the end NYAG accused me of engaging in “disruptive public speech.” Unfortunately, that’s not true. I haven’t disrupted the Democratic elite’s zombie-like devotion to PGM [pediatric gender medicine] providers. But I’m just getting started.”
Anti-trans activism
Goldis publishes frequently on Substack, collaborating with other enti-trans activists including Lisa Selin Davis, Democrats for an Informed Approach to Gender, LGB Alliance USA, and LGB Courage Coalition.
Goldis was a panelist at the 2025 US Federal Trade Commission anti-trans workshop. Goldis’ panel was titled “How Can the FTC Protect Families from Harm?” and included Brandon Showalter, Josh Payne, Paul Dupont, and Jay Richards.
Goldis was an invited speaker at the 2025 Genspect cpnference. Goldis’ speech was titled “The First Amendment vs. Gender Ideology: Glenna Goldis on Censorship in Schools.”
