Anti-transgender activism

According to anti-trans publication Feminist Current:

Estelle Birdy and Jill Nesbitt organized ā€œWomenā€™s Space to Speakā€ on November 12th, on behalf of Womenā€™s Space Ireland. The packed room and high spirits at the event indicates that the pushback against wholesale adoption of gender ideology in Ireland has begun in earnest.

According to anti-trans group Genspect:

Leftist feminist Estelle Birdy, will explore how past events in history can teach us how to fight the new authoritarianism that has crept in under the guise of ā€˜being kindā€™. Gender identity ideology is currently being taught in some Irish schools as fact, and a panel discussion will explore how this happened and the impact of this.
