Adam Omary vs. transgender people

Adam Omary is a conservative American evolutionary psychologist and anti-transgender activist. Omary is a policy scholar at the Cato Institute and has published work on gender identity and differences of sex developpment.

Background

Adam Omary was born in November of 1999 and grew up in the Los Angeles area, Omary attended University of Southern California, earning a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in 2022. Omary earned a doctorate from Harvard University in 2025. Omary’s dissertation committee was Steven Pinker, Leah Somerville, Randy Buckner, J. Michael Bailey, and Kenneth Zucker.

Anti-trans activism

Omary hosts the podcast Nature & Nurture. Anti-trans guests include J. Michael Bailey, Alex Byrne, Nicholas Christakis, Cory Clark, Frans de Waal, Dean Hamer, Rob Henderson, Helen Joyce, Eric Kaufmann, Simon LeVay, Steven Pinker, and Nicholas Wade. Despite writing a dissertation on trans topics, Omary has never had a trans guest.
