Legal

The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) has a number of laws in place to protect and assist transgender people.

US Virgin Islands Attorney General Claude Earl Walker stated in 2017: “Virgin Islands law protects the rights of transgender individuals, based upon the statutory framework set forth in the Virgin Islands Civil Rights Act, codified at Title 10 V.I.C., et seq,” (PDF)
