Joy Shaffer archive

Joy Diane Shaffer (born December 29, 1955) is an American physician who operated the Seahorse Medical Clinic serving transgender patients in San Jose, California from 1995 to 2005.

Shaffer was a member of WPATH, the American College of Physicians, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and GLMA.

Dr. Shaffer left the United States after closing Seahorse Medical Clinic and began a practice for other underserved people.
