Sophia Hutchins was a conservative transgender American socialite with close personal and professional ties to Caitlyn Jenner.
Background
Sophia Hutchins was born on April 1, 1996 in Bellevue, Washington. Hutchins came out while studying at Pepperdine University and earned a bachelor’s degree threre in 2019.
Hutchins met Caitlyn Jenner in 2015 and appeared in the docu-series I Am Cait. Hutchins worked as Jenner’s manager and served as director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. Hutchins founded Lumasol, a skincare company.
Hutchins died at age 29 in an all-terrain vehicle crash on July 2, 2025 in Malibu, California.
Political views
Hutchins was a board member of Log Cabin Republicans and a major supporter of Donald Trump.
In 2024, Hutchins stated:
“I don’t identify at all with the LGBT community. I reject that. I know you all want to put everybody in boxes. Here’s who I am. I’m Sophia Hutchins. You can call me whatever you want. You can put me in whatever box you want. The only box I’m putting myself in is I’m a proud Roman Catholic, I’m a proud America-first MAGA conservative. If you want to talk community, I have a great community of friends in Palm Beach. I have a great community of friends and colleagues in New York. I have a great community of friends and colleagues in LA. And I have a great community of colleagues and friends all around the world. That’s my community. The “LGBT” community is bullshit. And it’s not a community I want any part of. None. None whatsoever. Zero. And by the way, they don’t want me, and I don’t want them at all. I think they are some of the most toxic people on the face of the planet.”
