Gabrielle Clark vs. transgender people

Gabrielle Clark is an American anti-transgender activist. Clark is the unaccepting parent of a gender diverse child. Clark offers services as a “desistance coach” for other unaccepting parents who want their child to “desist” from a gender diverse identity.

Background

Gabrielle Lynette Higginbotham “Gabs” Clark was born in July 1977. Clark founded a confectionary named CJVW Candy Company.

Clark has five children. Clark’s spouse is deceased.

In 2020, Clark sued the Nevada State Public Charter School Authority over an assignment in the “Sociology of Change” class at Democracy Prep Public Schools. Clark’s child reportedly refused to participate in an exercise where students were asked to share their views on various topics. The case was dismissed with prejudice in November 2022.

Anti-trans activism

In 2021, Clark’s 12-year-old child Danaka came out as gender diverse. Clark moved from Nevada to Texas in hopes of a non-affirming school environment. Clark says Danaka has “desisted.”

RevFoXX

Clark is a member of anti-transgender group RevFoXX (“Reality Encompassed Values” for XX). They claim they are “advocating for the safeguarding of women & children, observing objective reality in solidarity, and countering the narrative of the gender lobby in the United States.” Members include:
