Dionne Joseph, aka “Dr P” and “psychigirl211,” is a British psychologist and anti-transgender extremist.
Background
Dionne Pamela Joseph was born on September 23, 1964. Joseph earned a bachelor’s degree from Reading University in 1993 and a doctorate from University of Kent at Canterbury in 1998.
From 1998 to 2005, Joseph was a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the NHS. In 2005, Joseph founded The Joseph Consultancy, which operated until 2012. Joseph has worked in London and Doha, Qatar.
Joseph is an officer in Vaxicorp Medical UK, The Future of Soil Ltd, and No2Plastic Ltd.
Joseph is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) United Kingdom.
Anti-trans activism
Joseph has signed several open letters critical of trans-inclusive policies in healthcare.
Joseph is active on social media, particularly X under the account psychgirl211. Joseph frequently posts disparaging comments about trans people and makes offensive personal attacks on specific trans people. In 2026, Joseph acknowledged owning the psychgirl211 account.
