Clive Simpson is a British retired mental health nursing lecturer and anti-transgender activist. Simpson identifies as gay and gender critical.

Background

Clive Simpson worked at the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare, University of West London. Simpson studied for a doctorate in nursing. Simpson research focused on nursing students’ emotional labour.

Anti-trans activism

Simpson co-hosted the anti-trans podcast Queens’ Speech with Dennis Kavanagh. The show was described as a “gender-critical eye on the impact of gender ideology, focusing on gay men.”

Simpson co-hosts Two Poofs And A Podcast. In 2024, they announced The Two Poofs and a Podcast 2024 Awards for “Homo and Lesbo of the Year” were Bev Jackson and Andrew Doyle.

Simpson signed the Beyond WPATH open letter attacking WPATH.
