Carol Bamford is a retired Canadian librarian and anti-transgender activist. Bamford has served on the steering committee of Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights (caWsbar) and hosts a weekly online event for the group on X (formerly Twitter).
Background
According to a bio supplied to caWsbar, Bamford “spent 25 years working with and advocating for people with disabilities in Alberta before moving to Saskatchewan to become a librarian for a decade before retirement. She has a long history of social justice and community work and is now dedicated to the restoration of women’s rights and the protection of children.”
Bamford identifies as a TERF.

Bamford and anti-trans activist Peeja Blackbird co-hosted the podcast North American Angst for the Red Tent Collective.
In 2026, Bamford launched a series on YouTube titled “Terfy Tales.”
