“NJada” / Nicholas Jadaszewski and transgender people

.

“NJada” is the pen name of Nicholas Jadaszewski, an American ex-transgender activist.

Background

Nicholas “Nick” Jadaszewski was born in December 1993 and grew up in Dublin, New Hampshire. Jadaszewski earned a bachelor’s degree from Ave Maria University in 2021 and a master’s degree from Providence College in 2023.

Jadaszewski made a social transition in around 2013 and took hormones for about 18 months before stopping in around 2016.

According to a 2022 interview with the Just Checking In Podcast:

“NJada is a male based in the U.S who transitioned when he was 19 years old. He spent two years living as a trans woman before he detransitioned [in ~2016]. Whilst presenting as female, he was on hormone replacement therapy (HRT), specifically oestrogen and a testosterone blocker for a year and a half.”

According to an interview with “Phil Illy”:

NJada (EN-YAH-DAH) is a detransitioner whose inner gender conflict is likely of autogynephilic etiology. When he transitioned in college, he was welcomed in his feminine persona. But after an LSD experience in which he lucidly felt the difference between him and females, he lost confidence that transition was the correct path and he stopped hormones shortly thereafter. A few years after detransitioning, he had another rough battle with gender dysphoria, but in recent years he’s been able to reduce the intensity and frequency of the gender dysphoria he experiences by consciously choosing to face aspects of his maleness head-on.

Ex-trans activism

Jadaszewski has done several media appearances discussing the ex-trans movement, including with Preston Sprinkle, Calmversations, “Phil Illy,” and Transparency.

Jadaszewski appears in the 2024 ex-trans propaganda piece The Lost Boys produced by The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network

Jadaszewski signed the Who Decides petition criticizing the World Health Organization for convening a trans-supportive working group for trans healthcare.
