SEEN in Journalism vs. transgender people

SEEN in Journalism is a British anti-transgender group that says it is “a journalists’ colleague network that relentlessly pursues accuracy and impartiality on sex and gender.” It is part of a web farm created by Sex Equality and Equity Network (SEEN).

Background

SEEN (Sex Equality and Equity Network) was launched in 2022. SEEN in Journalism was launched in March 2024 “as a sex equality and equity network “for reporters, columnists, investigative journalists, producers, editors and content-makers across platforms.”

2025 open letter to BBC

In 2025, SEEN published an open letter to the BBC complaining about their trans coverage on pronouns. Signatories were:
