Jos Rossell is an anti-transgender activist in Aotearoa New Zealand. Rossell is associated with anti-trans hate group Genspect.
Background
Rossell has been a member of NZACAP (New Zealand Association of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists).
Rossell is a Quaker and was involved in the Marlborough Violence Intervention Project. After Rossell’s spouse died of dementia, Rossell got involved in organizing Death Cafe events to discuss death and dying with others.
Anti-trans activism
In 2022 Rossell was MC for an event held by the anti-trans Child and Adolescent Therapists Association (CATA). Guest speakers included Stella O’Malley, Dianna Kenny, Margaret Curnow, Annabel Markham, Nicolette Levy, Suzanne Levy, Fern Hickson, “Lena,” and “Lizzie.”
On April 8, 2024, Simon Tegg and Rossell incorporated Genspect NZ Limited.
