Notable incidents

Sensationalized coverage in the 1990s of Las Vegas showgirl Jahna Steele, who was outed as trans by another tabloid after being named Sexiest Showgirl on the Strip.

Sensationalized coverage of comedian Eddie Murphy in 1997 after Murphy was pulled over in the company of trans sex worker Shalimar Seiuli.
