Vaginectomy for transgender people

Vaginectomy is surgery to remove the vagina. It is performed on people whose tissue in that area needs to be removed because of disease or injury. It is also performed on people in sex and gender minority communities, often with other bottom surgery options.

Important: These genital surgeries will change your body so you can’t ever make children. Those who wish to have this done must review their reproductive options before having surgery.
