Becky McCall is a British writer and anti-transgender activist who has written for Medscape. McCall has promoted the work of anti-trans hate group Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine.

Rebecca “Becky” McCall wasa born in January 1971. According to a biography on Medscape:

Becky McCall is based in London, United Kingdom, and has written as a freelance medical journalist for Medscape and associated websites/publications for the past 15 years, writing across most specialties but most recently on diabetes, obesity, hepatology, and gastroenterology. She’s particularly interested in public health and infectious diseases, and she is now writing up her PhD in public health at University College London. Her research involves creating digital stories via 3- to 5-minute videos with patients about their experiences of antibiotic resistance, with the hope of expanding the digital stories to other specialties. She holds a BSc degree in microbiology from Cardiff University, Wales, followed by an MSc in science communication from Imperial College London, and an MSc in public health from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has written for such publications as Re:solve Global Health, The Lancet, The Times, and the Mail On Sunday, and has also worked in radio and TV.
