Eithan Haim vs. transgender people

Eithan Haim is an American surgeon and anti-transgender activist.

Background

Eithan David Haim was born in February of 1990. Haim earned a bachelor’s degree from University of South Florida and a medical degree from Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Haim completed a residency in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in 2023.

Anti-transgender activism

In May 2024, Haim was charged with illegally obtaining the private medical records of pediatric patients receiving gender transition care at Texas Children’s Hospital and sharing them with anti-trans activist Christopher Rufo.

In 2025, the Trump administration dropped the charges against Haim.

In July 2025, Haim was a panelist at the 2025 US Federal Trade Commission anti-trans workshop.
