Parents of Desisters is an anti-transgender website associated with Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans (PITT). It contains unverified and unverifiable anonymous anecdotes, allegedly by parents and their “ex-transgender” children.
The site is designed to give hope to unaccepting parents of trans and gender diverse children that their child will “desist” or “detransition.”
The Twitter account “DesisterParents” was created in October 2020. The website was launched in September 2024.
In 2025, Parents of Desisters was listed as a signatory on a citizen petition submitted to the US Food and Drug Administration, seeking to restrict or ban off-label use of feminizing hormones.
