Anna Miroshnychenko is a Canadian researcher and anti-transgender activist. Miroshnychenko is affiliated with anti-trans hate group Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine (SEGM).
Background
Anna Miroshnychenko attended McMaster University, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2018, a master’s degree in 2020, and doctorate in 2025.
Miroshnychenko was a research student at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Kids in 2016 and 2017. Miroshnychenko then worked at Cytel as a research consultant in 2020 and 2021, then at OrthoEvidence in 2021. From December 2023 to May 2024, Miroshnychenko was a consultant at Amaris Consulting.
Miroshnychenko has engaged in reaching and research at McMaster University frin 2017.
Anti-trans activism
Miroshnychenko was a research consultant at SEGM from May 2021 to February 2022. Miroshnychenko’s role was “appraising peer-reviewed journal articles published in the field of gender medicine.” From 2020 to 2024, Miroshnychenko’s “led a team to execute evidence syntheses, such as systematic reviews and (network) meta-analyses, to inform clinical practice guidelines in dentistry and gender medicine.”
