In 2023, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey published rules that will apply to trans and gender diverse Missourians of all ages, including a new therapy requirement that creates an 18-month waiting period for people seeking care.

While this ruling is being challenged in court, Missouri residents still have many options, including telehealth services and options for how to order hormones online.
