Michael L. Brownstein archive

Michael Brownstein (born May 4, 1941) is an American plastic surgeon known for his work with transgender and gender diverse people.

Brownstein was widely considered among the best for top surgery for trans men and transmasculine people seeking chest masculinization.

Brownstein’s clients included Chaz Bono and other notable trans men, and he was mentioned in the 2019 film Adam, set in 2006.

Brownstein’s practice was taken over by Curtis Crane following his retirement in 2013.
